It Almost Happened...

My concerns were validated today. I did a ridiculous dance on the ice. The only thing that kept me on my feet was the fact I was clinging to Rachael's arm as we walked to work. Thank God for roommates who don't let you down (please recognize the wit in this statement).

Woe! When I was out on my walk today, I was thinking of your last blog where you mentioned the slush/ice and falling icicles. And I started praying for God's protection for you from both of those things! The question is, how do you keep your eyes on the ground to try to avoid slipping while watching overhead for falling icicles? You'll end up wall-eyed! Oh and, thank you Rachael!

Molodets, because I slipped 3 times in two days back in January I think it was. It made for some serious laughter in life, but I really would rather avoid it.

I find it most ironic that two girls that I care about are slipping and sliding through a phase in their life (literally and figuratively). They're so close, yet they're are so far apart (like 9278 miles apart).

Yet, God knew this is where you'd each be at this point of your journey. He is so VERY close to each of you that by simply being within His embracing arms, you two are closer to each other than you can imagine!

Take care!!
